Job summary

VCA West Coast Specialty and Emergency Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team. The CSR will set the tone for the practice, greet clients, manage appointments, process payments, and maintain patient records with compassion and professionalism.

You will be the face of the clinic, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment and coordinating with multiple departments to deliver top-notch service to clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

• Customer service functions including: greeting clients, answering phones and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Routing phone calls to the appropriate person/department
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste)and ensuring that the facility is neat and clean at all times - both inside and outside
