BRIDGEPORT VETERINARY HOSPITAL is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to join our two-doctor practice. You will greet clients, manage appointments, handle payments, and coordinate with veterinarians and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Applicants should be compassionate, organized, and comfortable using computer systems and veterinary terminology. Position may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support client needs and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and friendly with clients and patients.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology is a plus.
• Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable using computers and practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet clients and check patients in/out; answer multi-line phones and de-escalate issues with empathy.
• Schedule wellness visits, procedures, and urgent care appointments using practice management software.
• Discuss treatment estimates and process payments; manage pet insurance and third-party financing.
• Update client accounts and medical records; process prescription refill requests and obtain external histories.
• Coordinate between pet owners and clinical team; communicate patient updates, doctor notes and results.
• Collaborate with team and apply best practices in customer service to build client relationships.
