VCA East Mill Plain Animal Hospital in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Client Service Representative with veterinary experience to join our AAHA-accredited team. You will greet clients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and help deliver exceptional care and service in a collaborative, fear-free environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, handling payments, educating clients on preventive care, and supporting doctors and staff to ensure a positive experience for every pet

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary client services preferred.
• Excellent communication with clients and patients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line phone system
• Scheduling and confirming appointments
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups
• Triage phone calls
• Communicate through fax and email
• Problem solve/critical thinking
• Present and explain fees
• Recommend and obtain products and services
• Educate clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care
• Ensure patients and owners are comfortable during visits
• Exercise Fear Free practices
• Manage electronic medical records
• Communicate with clients before and after visits
• Keep lobby and work area clean and presentable
• Work independently and in teams
