The role focuses on delivering exceptional client service, coordinating communications, and supporting the clinical team in a fast-paced emergency hospital environment.

You will greet clients, manage phone inquiries, and maintain accurate records while working alongside veterinarians and specialists.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Previous veterinary industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients from check-in through discharge.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments and assisting clients with questions and requests.
• Coordinate communication between clients, referring veterinarians, and the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records using hospital software systems.
• Process client transactions and assist with administrative responsibilities that support daily hospital operations.
• Provide compassionate support to clients during emotionally challenging situations.
