Job summary

VetEvolve’s Roanoke, VA hospital (Big Lick Vet) is hiring a full-time Client Service Representative. The CSR delivers outstanding front-desk service in person and over the phone, greets clients and their pets, and supports the veterinary team with accurate records and clear communication.

The role requires a high school diploma, veterinary experience preferred, and a Monday–Friday schedule with 9–10 hour days.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Experience: Veterinary or animal care background preferred.
• Computer proficiency: email, practice management software, MS Office.
• Accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with professional, empathetic service.
• Check-in/out patients and coordinate with staff on patient flow.
• Maintain client communications via phone, email, and mail.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; triage based on urgency.
• Explain hospital services, wellness care, vaccinations, diagnostics, and aftercare.
• Handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
• Maintain patient records and ensure charges are captured.
