Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Preferably with veterinary receptionist experience, but not required
• Willing to train the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and in stressful situations.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, and schedule appointments.
• Assist with basic medical emergencies for pets and owners.
• Assist with medication pickups and inquiries, and provide service/product information.
• Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing.
• Support retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
• Balance cash drawer and complete end-of-day procedures.
