Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Hermitage Animal Clinic in Hermitage, Tennessee, is seeking a Care Coordinator to join our team as a veterinary receptionist focused on delivering excellent client service and administrative support.

As the Care Coordinator, you’ll manage the lobby, schedule appointments, assist with basic pet care information, and process billing using our practice software. This is a full-time day shift with some Saturday rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records.
• Excellent customer service skills, courteous and prompt.
• Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities.
• Strong multitasking with attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift animals up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, schedule appointments.
• Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and information about services and products.
• Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assist with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties.
