Bruceville Pet Hospital, part of PetVet Care Centers, is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join our Elk Grove team. The role emphasizes front-desk administration, client communication, and scheduling within a busy veterinary setting.

As a Care Coordinator, you will support hospital operations, manage data entry, and assist with client services while upholding our culture of care for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Experience is preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, schedules appointments, and addresses concerns.
• Assists with basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Helps with medication pickups and provides information about services and products.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, and maintaining records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties.
