PetVet Care Centers' Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital in Flat Rock, NC, is seeking a Care Coordinator (Veterinary Receptionist) to join our team. This role combines administrative support with patient and client service to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will handle front desk duties, scheduling, billing, and basic pet-related emergencies while upholding our culture of care. Experience in a veterinary setting and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years of veterinary experience.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person, on the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, and schedule appointments.
• Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Assist with medication pickups and inquiries, and explain services and products.
• Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing.
• Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, and maintain records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties.
