The Care Coordinator acts as the first contact for clients, coordinating with veterinarians, nursing staff, and specialists to ensure smooth transitions between services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Previous customer service experience required; veterinary or healthcare preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; calm and solution-oriented.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, empathy, and compassion.
• Coordinate arrivals, admissions, transfers, and discharges; schedule appointments.
• Educate clients about hospital services, policies, and payment options.
• Handle financial tasks: invoices, payments, estimates, and care credit options.
• Maintain electronic medical records and organized reception areas.
• Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care.
