Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, own transportation, and at least one year of customer service experience; veterinary experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and check patients in and out of the hospital.
• Answer a high volume of phone calls in a professional manner.
• Schedule appointments using veterinary software.
• Communicate effectively with clients and staff in person, by phone, and via email.
• Process payments, including cash, checks, credit cards and Care Credit.
• Manage medical records, including preparing files, filing, scanning, and emailing records.
• Fill prescriptions and maintain a clean, professional front desk environment.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking an outgoing and motivated customer service professional to join our team! We are looking for someone who isn't just an "animal lover," (aren't we all) but loves interacting with people too! At least one year of customer service preferred, and veterinary experience preferred but not a requirement for the right candidate. Must have high school diploma or equivalent and own transportation. The hours for this position are perfect for a college student with morning classes.

What you'll be doing:

• Greeting clients and checking patients in and out of the hospital.
• Answering a high volume of phone calls in a professional manner.
• Scheduling appointments using veterinary software.
• Communicating effectively with clients and other staff members in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Processing payments, ie. cash handling, checks, credit cards and Care Credit.
• Managing medical records, ie. preparing files, filing, scanning, faxing/emailing records.
• Filling prescriptions.
• Maintaining a clean and professional environment, ie. light cleaning duties.
