Job summary

290 Employment Security Commission seeks a JVSG Training & Development Coordinator to support Field Operations statewide. This full-time role develops and manages training programs, tracks requirements, and ensures compliance with federal/state guidelines.

Responsibilities include scheduling sessions, creating orientation programs, maintaining calendars, and reporting on training metrics. On-site work is essential with occasional travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in education, training, or organizational development.
• Knowledge of federal/state veterans’ employment programs.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains training processes per guidelines.
• Collaborate to create staff orientation and training programs.
• Schedule sessions, workshops, and seminars.
• Maintain training calendars and notify employees.
• Track training records, renewals, and CE requirements.
• Analyze training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Prepare reports on training metrics and KPIs.
• On-site attendance is essential; travel as needed.
