Job summary

The State of Oklahoma, via the 290 EMPLOYMENT SECURITY COMMISSION, seeks a JVSG Training & Development Coordinator to design, implement, and oversee training programs for staff and veterans. You will coordinate orientation, schedule sessions, and manage training calendars to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

This full-time, exempt role is statewide with on-site duties and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; professional experience in organizational development, education, training, or related field.
• Knowledge of Federal and state veterans’ employment programs and related laws and policies.
• Adult education principles; ability to design and deliver training and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains processes for tracking training requirements in accordance with guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to create and implement new staff orientation and training program.
• Schedule training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
• Develop and maintain training calendars and communicate schedules and requirements to employees.
• Maintain logs for training records, certifications, renewals, and continuing education requirements.
• Track employee completion of required training programs; analyze training effectiveness.
