Job summary

Loyal Source seeks an Examiner Nurse Practitioner in Tulsa, OK, to perform Compensation & Pension disability examinations for Veterans applying for VA benefits. The role involves reviewing records, focused physicals, and producing objective opinions; it is not a prescribing or treatment position.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with ~10% travel to support other Loyal Source clinics. The pay rate is $111,158 per year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program.
• Active, valid, and unrestricted NP license.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong documentation, communication and time management skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, MS Outlook, Adobe PDF and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P disability examinations for Veterans per VA requirements.
• Review medical records and diagnostic testing before/during examinations.
• Perform focused physical assessments.
• Prepare objective medical opinions and complete documentation accurately.
• Use exam and case management systems to organize workload and submit findings.
• Maintain compliance with VA training, HIPAA, and Loyal Source policies.
• Support other Loyal Source clinics with travel as needed (≈10%).
