Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking an Examiner Physician Assistant in Tulsa, OK to conduct Compensation & Pension disability examinations for Veterans applying for VA benefits. Role emphasizes reviewing records, focused physicals, and objective medical opinions with no prescribing or ongoing patient management.

The position offers a predictable Mon-Fri schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), ~10% travel, and a competitive pay range ($135,158 - $165,152). Training and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by an institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Active, valid, and unrestricted Physician Assistant license. Candidate must not be barred from practicing in any of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. commonwealth, territory, or possession.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a Physician Assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including required renewals.
• Strong documentation, communication, and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word, MS Outlook, Adobe PDF, web-based platforms, and EMR systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to maintain requirements specific to federal contractors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P disability examinations for Veterans in accordance with VA program requirements.
• Review medical records, diagnostic testing, and supporting documentation before and during examinations.
• Perform focused physical assessments related to claimed conditions.
• Prepare objective, evidence-based medical opinions and complete required documentation accurately.
• Use proprietary examination and case management systems to organize workload and submit findings.
• Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure reports are complete, accurate, and submitted within required timelines.
• Maintain compliance with VA training requirements, HIPAA, privacy standards, and Loyal Source policies.
• Support other Loyal Source clinics as needed, with approximately 10% travel.
