Job summary

Loyal Source in St. Louis, MO seeks an Examiner Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation & Pension disability evaluations for Veterans pursuing VA benefits. The role centers on records review, focused exams, and objective opinions without treatment duties.

The position offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with ~10% travel and no prescribing responsibilities. Must hold active NP license and BLS, and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the United States with no state bar.
• BLS certification with current renewals.
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner (minimum 1 year).
• Proficient documentation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P disability examinations for Veterans per VA requirements.
• Review medical records and diagnostic tests prior to and during exams.
• Perform focused physical assessments related to claimed conditions.
• Document findings and provide objective medical opinions.
• Submit complete reports using web-based systems; meet timelines.
