Job summary

Loyal Source seeks a Nurse Practitioner Examiner to perform Compensation & Pension examinations for Veterans seeking VA disability benefits. You will review claims, conduct focused assessments, examine records, and render evidence-based medical opinions in line with VA guidelines.

Charting from home may be required; you will collaborate with QA and healthcare teams, ensure HIPAA compliance, and travel up to 10% to support clinics. An active NP license and BLS are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) including renewals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with medical disability evaluations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Comprehensive Medical Disability Examinations for Veterans.
• Review and analyze medical records and tests.
• Render objective medical opinions on disability impact.
• Document findings in VA-compliant reports.
• Coordinate with QA team and other healthcare professionals.
• Travel up to 10% to support other clinics.
