Job summary

The University of Vermont is seeking an Intake Coordinator for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program in Colchester, VT. You will act as the first contact for Veterans and their families, handling intake and determining eligibility for services.

Responsibilities include prioritizing client needs, coordinating entry into services, and supporting program compliance while explaining program details and workflow to participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; two years of related experience required.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to use computerized case management applications to enter and track participant information; ability to understand and explain program details and workflow required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for Veterans and families.
• Conduct initial intake and determine eligibility for the SSVF program.
