Job summary
MINNESOTA ASSISTANCE COUNCIL FOR VETERANS (MACV) seeks an Intake Coordinator to support Veterans across Minnesota. You will assess eligibility, gather information, and coordinate referrals to MACV and community resources.
The role requires professional communication with Veterans, partners, and internal staff. As part of MACV, you will document interactions, maintain accuracy in records, and help connect Veterans with housing, employment, and legal supports while balancing multiple priorities in
Qualifications
- Experience with HMIS or other homeless services/client information systems.
- Ability to manage multiple referrals and deadlines.
- Strong communication with Veterans and community partners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial screening and eligibility assessment for MACV services.
- Review information to determine next steps and connect Veterans with resources.
- Document referrals and dispositions in client tracking systems.
- Communicate eligibility determinations to Veterans and partners.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
