Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) is a statewide nonprofit organization with a mission to end Veteran homelessness in Minnesota. MACV provides comprehensive programs in the areas of housing, employment, and legal services to support Veterans and their families throughout Minnesota who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. MACV operates a budget over $14 million annually and has a team of approximately 100 employees throughout Minnesota. Position Overview:
This position serves as a primary point of contact for Veterans seeking assistance from MACV and for community partners making referrals. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for assessing eligibility, gathering necessary information, coordinating referrals, and ensuring Veterans are connected to appropriate services in a timely manner.
The Intake Coordinator must be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of individuals, manage multiple priorities, and remain organized and composed in challenging or rapidly changing situations. The ideal candidate is professional, poised, resourceful, and able to use sound judgment while balancing the needs of Veterans, community partners, and internal staff.
