Job summary

This role emphasizes Motivational Interviewing, Housing First, Rapid Re-housing, and Trauma-Informed Care to help Veterans achieve stable housing across Essex and Middlesex counties, with travel in the Greater Boston area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required or substitute with relevant experience.
• Experience with case management and navigating community resources, housing placements, and homelessness services.
• Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, Trauma-Informed Care and cultural competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing search, case management and stabilization services for Veterans in the Shallow Subsidy program.
• Coordinate with SSVF teams and external partners to screen participants and secure funds/services.
• Develop and implement individual service plans and advocate with landlords and service providers.
• Assist with housing stabilization activities including rapid housing and housing retention.
