Job summary

Cognitive Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Service Specialist to facilitate and oversee the administration, development, and delivery of employment assistance services for Delaware service members, veterans, and families.

You will lead staff, coordinate national guard programs, and engage employers through job fairs and online platforms to connect job seekers with opportunities and training resources.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in employment assistance, resume writing, recruiting, or HR management.
• Army/Air Guard knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary coordinator for delivery on all employment assistance to Service Members, Veterans, and Military Families.
• Lead staff for the coordination of all Delaware National Guard employment and career assistance programs.
• Utilize employment websites and job fairs for opportunities.
• Support Yellow Ribbon Program events and outreach to employers.
• Evaluate employment needs and refer job seekers to partners with matched opportunities.
• Compile employment and job fair listings and attend events.
• Interpret career assessments to determine training needs and referrals.
• Maintain communication with family readiness and collaborate with Family Assistance Center.
