Job summary

WestCare California Inc. is seeking an Employment & Case Management Specialist for the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP).

You will provide integrated employment services and case management to veterans facing barriers to employment, helping them set goals and obtain meaningful work. The role includes developing individualized service plans, coordinating with housing, benefits, and behavioral health resources, and working with employers to create opportunities while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in case management or workforce development.
• Experience with Veterans and/or homelessness preferred.
• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong networking with employers and service providers.
• Knowledge of labor market trends, resume writing, and interview coaching.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify veterans' strengths, goals, barriers, and service needs.
• Develop and monitor individualized service plans focused on employment and long-term stability.
• Provide case management, advocacy, and referrals to housing, VA benefits, behavioral health, and workforce resources.
• Provide employment services including job coaching, resume development, interview prep, and job-search assistance.
• Develop relationships with employers and community partners to create opportunities.
• Monitor placements and provide follow-up support for job retention.
• Maintain accurate records and HVRP data per requirements.
