Job summary

The American GI Forum - National Veterans Outreach Program (NVOP) is seeking a Case Manager for the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) to outreach eligible homeless veterans and provide services including benefits information, housing referrals, job training, and placement.

The role requires meticulous case notes, timely reporting, and coordination with partners to avoid duplication of services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and at least 3 years’ experience in social services programs, inter-personal counseling, job placement services, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Outreach to eligible homeless veterans for services including benefits information and referrals.
• Provide support services, housing referrals, job training, placement, and follow-up.
• Maintain detailed case notes and submit required reports on a timely basis.
• Coordinate with other programs to prevent duplication of services and maximize client benefits.
• Show sensitivity and professional care toward veterans and their needs.
