Mid-Cities Medical in Grand Prairie, TX, seeks a detail-oriented care coordination support specialist to assist veterans, hospitals and patients. On-site role focuses on accurate data entry, patient records, and coordination across departments.

You will handle high call volumes, process faxes and orders, educate patients about oxygen and equipment, and ensure file integrity while maintaining life-safety documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required; experience in medical office preferred.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail essential.
• Familiarity with medical software and patient record documentation helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process high call volume—inbound/outbound calls with patients, families, or providers.
• Process faxes and order entries up to 100 per day.
• Coordinate with branches for remote printing and data transmission.
• Maintain precise data entry to protect patient safety and life-safety notes.
• Educate patients and caregivers about oxygen, equipment, or hospital policies.
• Document patient records and update prescriptions, renewals, changes, or notes.
