Job summary
Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the role of Automotive Service Technician. This full-time position offers a one-year competency-based apprenticeship, allowing Veterans to gain hands-on training at participating Kia dealerships while working toward Kia Service Technician certification. The program is approved for GI Bill® benefits, providing a Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship. Candidates must have an honorable discharge and prior mechanical experience.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
