Job summary

Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for a full-time role as an Automotive Service Technician. The program offers valuable hands-on training, leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Participants work alongside experienced technicians while receiving a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill® during their one-year apprenticeship. Applicants must possess an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Military and be willing to undergo background checks.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and transmissions.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation according to policies.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors for customer satisfaction.
