The Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the Automotive Technician Apprentice role. This program offers hands-on experience at a Kia dealership while completing a one-year apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Veterans will benefit from full-time employment, training, tools, and support in a fast-paced dealership environment. The position is GI Bill approved, allowing eligible Veterans to receive a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) during their apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
