Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is seeking Military Veterans interested in a rewarding career as an Automotive Service Technician. Candidates need an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Military and a valid driver's license. The program is GI Bill® approved, providing eligible veterans with a Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship.
Qualifications
Must have completed U.S. Military Service with an Honorable Discharge.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential.
Previous experience in a mechanical or technical field is required.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines and electrical systems.
Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
Complete repair orders and warranty documentation according to policies.
Skills
Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field
Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
Education
