Job summary

Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) seeks Military Veterans interested in becoming Automotive Service Technicians. The program includes full-time employment at Kia dealerships while completing a one-year competency-based apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles while ensuring a positive customer experience. Ideal candidates have mechanical experience and must pass background checks. The program is GI Bill® approved, offering Veterans a Monthly Housing Allowance during their training.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.

Skills
