Job summary

The Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to join as Automotive Technician Apprentices. This full-time position offers hands-on dealership experience, leading to Kia Service Technician certification through a one-year, GI Bill-approved apprenticeship. Successful candidates will diagnose and repair Kia vehicles, engaging in a safe and organized work environment while benefiting from a Monthly Housing Allowance. Prior mechanical experience is essential, along with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field required.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines and electrical systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and maintain safety procedures.
