Job summary

Kiavets is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the position of Automotive Service Technician under the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP). This full-time role provides hands-on dealership experience leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Candidates will diagnose and repair Kia vehicles, and must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service. Benefits include a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) through the GI Bill during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record essential.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including major systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs using Kia procedures.
• Communicate effective with service advisors for customer experience.
