Qualifications

• College or college-equivalent education to become a Credentialed Veterinary Technician.
• At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, assist veterinarians during appointments and surgeries.
• Assist with dentistry, anesthesia, and monitoring of patients.
• Maintain and update electronic medical records and inventory.
• Educate clients, relay test results, and manage accounts as needed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist in recovery and discharge.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and maintain a clean hospital environment.
• Participate in training of new staff and promote teamwork.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and provide backup front desk support.
