Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician in the state of practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong telephone and computer skills.
• Team player willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, take weights and vital signs, and record in EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia.
• Perform patient restraint, collect lab samples, dispense medications.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, maintain records and AR.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor anesthesia.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and care.
• Train new staff and share knowledge.
• Keep hospital clean and orderly.
