You will assist veterinarians, support surgeries and dental procedures, and help educate clients while delivering compassionate patient care in a busy, client-focused hospital.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients arriving for appointments or walk-ins and escort into an exam room; obtain weight and vital signs; record in EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Perform patient restraint, collect lab samples, handle and dispense medications, maintain EMR.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, relay test results, update inventory and records, manage accounts receivable.
• Prepare patients for procedures; monitor anesthetized patients and discharge or transfer as needed.
