The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of veterinary front desk experience and strong communication skills across computer, phone, email, and text.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital required (Receptionist, Veterinary Assistant, or Veterinary Technician experience accepted)
• Strong computer, phone, email, and text communication skills
• Experience handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment
• Ability to stay professional and positive during stressful situations

Responsibilities

• Answering multiple phone lines professionally and efficiently
• Scheduling appointments and helping manage daily hospital flow
• Greeting clients and checking patients in and out
• Processing payments, refill requests, insurance claims, and client communications
• Responding to emails and text messages promptly and professionally
• Differentiating between routine and urgent/emergency situations
• Communicating clearly with doctors, technicians, assistants, and clients
• Maintaining accurate records and entering information into the computer system
• Opening and closing the office independently when needed
