Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital (Receptionist, Veterinary Assistant, or Veterinary Technician experience accepted).
• Strong computer, phone, email, and text communication skills.
• Ability to stay professional and positive during stressful situations.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answering multiple phone lines professionally and efficiently.
• Scheduling appointments and managing daily hospital flow.
• Greeting clients and checking patients in and out.
• Processing payments, refill requests, insurance claims, and client communications.
• Responding to emails and text messages promptly and professionally.
• Differentiating between routine and urgent/emergency situations.
• Communicating clearly with doctors, technicians, assistants, and clients.
• Maintaining accurate records and entering information into the computer system.
• Opening and closing the office independently when needed.
