Arroyo Vista Veterinary Hospital in Moorpark, CA seeks a full-time Client Service Representative / Receptionist to join our front desk team. Pay starts at $20–$23 per hour, with a 32–35 hour workweek across 4 days, and full benefits.

Responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling, greeting clients, processing payments, and handling insurance claims. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and capable of multitasking in a busy veterinary setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital required (Receptionist, Veterinary Assistant, or Veterinary Technician experience accepted).
• Strong computer, phone, email, and text communication skills are essential.
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
• Comfortable handling high call volumes and multiple priorities with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Answering multiple phone lines professionally and efficiently.
• Scheduling appointments and helping manage daily hospital flow.
• Greeting clients and checking patients in and out.
• Processing payments, refill requests, insurance claims, and client communications.
• Responding to emails and text messages promptly and professionally.
• Differentiating between routine and urgent/emergency situations.
• Communicating clearly with doctors, technicians, assistants, and clients.
• Maintaining accurate records and entering information into the computer system.
• Opening and closing the office independently when needed.
