Job summary

Hornblower Group seeks a dependable Front-of-House Host aboard one of our vessel operations in Boston. You will assist the Restaurant Manager with daily duties, welcome guests, help with seating, and ensure a safe, guest-focused dining experience.

Ideal candidates display strong hospitality, organization, and teamwork, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and major holidays. This is a full-time vessel-based role requiring excellent communication and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as part of a shipboard hospitality team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers aboard the vessel.
• Assist with greeting and seating guests to ensure a smooth flow of dining operations.
• Support the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day front-of-house activities and safety standards.
• Oversee deck seating arrangements and assist servers as needed to maintain service efficiency.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and comply with appearance standards.
