Job summary

Hornblower Group’s City Experiences in Boston is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver outstanding support at our ticketing and boarding locations along the waterfront. You will greet guests, share information on cruise options, and guide them to boarding points while keeping calm in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires knowledge of the Waterfront area, strong communication and sales skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be available for nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of the Waterfront area to provide directions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at ticket booths and boarding locations.
• Upsell and cross-promote City Experiences products.
• Inform guests about cruise schedules, availability and directions.
• Remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarize with Anchor, Dock Access and City Experiences systems.
• Provide directions to local points of interest and attractions.
• Follow safety protocols during ticket purchase and boarding.
• Handle card and cash transactions and support opening/closing shifts.
• Work indoors and outdoors, greeting guests at boarding locations.
