Hornblower Group invites a friendly Host to join our scenic passenger vessel team. You will welcome guests, assist with seatings, and support the restaurant team to ensure smooth cruise operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+, and strong communication with a customer-first mindset. Prior hospitality experience is preferred, and you should be comfortable lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Positive attitude with excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable lifting and moving furniture or supplies.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and professional attitude.
• Support the Restaurant Manager and front-of-house team with daily cruise operations.
• Assist with deck setup, table assignments, and service preparation.
• Greet and seat guests to ensure a smooth arrival experience.
• Assist Servers and Server Assistants during service.
• Provide guests with menus, cruise routes, and points of interest.
• Help maintain clean, organized service areas and post-cruise cleanup.
• Support guest safety and satisfaction throughout the voyage.
