Job summary

Zoom is seeking an Events Manager to own end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of vertical events for education and healthcare, including trade shows, workshops, and virtual experiences. You will collaborate with Zoom executives, marketing, sales, product, and technical teams to align event plans with revenue and partner priorities.

You will manage budgets, vendors, and reporting dashboards with KPIs and ROI, and travel about 10% for on-site execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in event management and execution, with a track record of managing successful in-person and virtual events end to end.
• Deep understanding of the education and healthcare verticals, including compliance standards, market trends, and industry event best practices.
• Experience marketing vertical solutions at high-tech, cloud, B2B, or SaaS companies.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with event technology platforms, Salesforce, marketing automation tools, and project management tools; solid understanding of KPIs, ROI, and event metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize vertical event plans tailored to education and healthcare sectors.
• Manage all aspects of events across the full lifecycle, from pre-event planning to post-event analysis.
• Execute vertical event logistics including industry trade show booths, educational workshops, healthcare events, speaking engagements, swag creation, networking receptions, and hosted ancillary events.
• Build and manage event reporting dashboards based on KPIs, including ROI and marketing and sales metrics.
• Own and manage event budgets, purchase order creation, and invoice processing to ensure financial accountability.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and partners to secure resources within budget and quality standards.
• Partner cross-functionally with Zoom executives, marketing, sales, product, and technical teams to ensure alignment on event strategy and outcomes.
