Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician for our manufactured home community. The role includes painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical work, and landscaping while adhering to health and safety standards.

You will work with the Community Manager, perform routine tasks, and assist in budget prep as needed. Candidates should have property or building maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CMRP certification is desirable.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up ventilation, refrigeration and other systems.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows, etc.).
• Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in good condition.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Mow, weed eat and hedge trim; maintain equipment.
