Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Manufactured Home Community. The role involves painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical work, and landscaping, with the ability to work autonomously while upholding health and safety standards for residents.

The ideal candidate has property and/or building maintenance experience and a strong work ethic with self-supervision skills. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Physically capable of manual labor including lifting, bending, and reaching

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and repairs of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows, etc.)
• Undertake pest control activities as needed
• Keep grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
• Mow, weed, edge and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
