Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT seeks a Maintenance Technician (Tradesman) for Manufactured Home Communities, with regional travel. 4–7 years of housing maintenance and rehab experience preferred; own tools is a plus.

The role involves painting, remodeling, minor plumbing, electrical work and landscaping, working autonomously while observing health and safety guidelines and delivering high standards to residents.

Qualifications

• Carpentry skills are essential and a must.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and repairs of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems for functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed.
• Perform manual repairs, e.g., locks, windows.
• Conduct grounds keeping and landscaping tasks; assist in budget prep.
• Mow, trim hedges and maintain equipment.
• Travel regionally to multiple properties.
