Job summary

Flagship Communities is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to support our manufactured home communities. The role covers painting, home remodeling, minor plumbing, electrical work and groundskeeping to keep residents safe and comfortable.

You will work autonomously under the Community Manager, perform repairs, maintain systems, and help with budgeting and safety compliance. A high school diploma and property or building maintenance experience are preferred, with plumbing experience

Qualifications

Must have property and/or building maintenance experience.
Plumbing experience preferred.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.).
Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
Keep grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape.
Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
Mow, weed eat and hedge trim; maintain equipment.
