Job summary

Flagship Communities is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our manufactured home community. Role includes painting, home remodeling, minor plumbing and electrical work, and landscaping with autonomy while observing safety standards. Reports to Community Manager.

The ideal candidate has broad maintenance skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven ability to manage routine repairs and upkeep on-site.

Qualifications

Must have basic maintenance experience.
Willingness to work autonomously and follow health and safety guidelines.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CMRP certification is desired.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
Physical ability for manual labor.

Responsibilities

Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
Perform manual repairs when necessary (locks, windows).
Undertake pest control such as spraying insecticide.
Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
Keep grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape.
Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
Mow, weed eat and hedge trim; operate related equipment.
