Job summary

AEG Presents in Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time Guest Services Staff member to serve as the primary point of contact for guests inside the venue, ensuring safety and a welcoming experience from entry onward.

The role involves helping guests find areas like restrooms, VIP zones, and seating, while enforcing venue policies and assisting with ADA accessibility. Prior event or venue experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude with superior customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest questions and direct guests to key venue areas.
• Operate coat check rooms per guidelines.
• Scan tickets and administer applicable wristbands.
• Greet guests and resolve complaints, escalating when needed.
• Monitor guest conduct to maintain a safe environment and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Seat guests and assist ADA patrons.
• Enforce venue policies and complete required trainings.
• Act as part of the emergency evacuation team.
• Monitor venue during guest arrival and exit to comply with safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
