Job summary

AEG Presents in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Guest Services Staff member to act as the primary point of contact for guests inside the venue. You will provide friendly, professional service, answer questions, and help ensure a safe and welcoming environment from entry through departure.

Responsibilities include directing guests to restrooms and VIP areas, scanning tickets, handling coat checks, and supporting ADA patrons.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years related work experience.
• Ability to work in varying conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Positive attitude with superior customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest questions and direct guests to important areas of the venue (restrooms, ATM, coat checks, VIP areas, and concert area).
• Operate the coat check rooms within guidelines and procedures.
• Scan tickets for entry and administer wristbands (21+, VIP Access, Private Event Access).
• Greet guests and resolve complaints, monitor conduct for safety, and ensure responsible alcohol consumption.
• Seat guests and assist ADA patrons.
• Enforce venue policies and complete trainings and meetings.
• Act in evacuation and emergency communications as needed.
• Monitor venue during guest arrival and exit for fire safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as deemed by Management.
