Job summary

AEG Presents in New York City at Terminal 5 is seeking a part-time Coat Check Attendant to run coat check rooms, process payments, and assist guests with directions to restrooms, ATMs, VIP areas and the concert arena.

The position requires 0–2 years in events, a positive customer-service mindset, the ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled. Benefits may apply for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Previous experience working in events and knowledge of the music industry preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Operate the coat check rooms within established guidelines and procedures at the venue.
• Efficiently and accurately collect payment for coat check services, including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Answer guest questions and direct guests to restrooms, ATM, VIP areas, and concert area; provide additional assistance as needed.
• Enforce all policies and procedures of the venue; complete trainings and attend employee meetings.
• Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by Management and Supervisors.
• Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team by directing guests during emergencies.
